In a recent national survey[12.1 MB], 8 percent of high school students reported physical violence and 7 percent reported that they experienced sexual violence from a dating partner in the 12 months before the survey. Victims of teen dating violence are more likely to experience symptoms of depression and anxiety. Yvette Alisa (Ortiz) Henderson was born in the U.S. Price Utah. I grew up in a lower-middle-class household where I was the first generation college graduate double majoring in, Social Work and Generously. I attended a Private Catholic School and was a straight-A high honor Student up until the time I graduated graduate school. My parents had me on a very tight lease. I never dated because my focus was primarily on school work. I obtained my first job when I was 14 where I waited tables at a Chinese Restaurant. Bought my first car when I was 16 and paid my entire way through college
